YES Prep provides different tools to help you stay connected to how your child is performing at school. Staying connected will allow you to see if your child is on track or needs additional support in their education. If you have any questions about the applications (apps) listed below, feel free to reach out to your campus' front office.
Skyward
Through Home Access Center, parents and students have access to:

Grades: assignment grades, progress report grades, and report card grades

Attendance: tardies, absences, etc.

Schedule: classes your student is enrolled in
Hero
We invite students and parents to register your own HERO account so we may keep the lines of communication between home and school open. Once you register online, you may download the HERO app to receive push notifications about your student’s HERO behavior throughout the day.
Students and Guardians will each have a unique Hero login account. If you have any issues logging in to your HERO account, please reach out to your campus’s Dean of Students or Director of Student Support.
Naviance
Naviance serves as the primary tool for YES Prep Students as they develop their College Readiness skills.
Naviance is actively used in Junior and Senior Seminar throughout the College Research, List Building, and Application process.
- Junior Year, Naviance serves as an online resource for students to research colleges, sign up for college visits, and connect with fly-ins and student opportunities.
- Senior Year, Naviance is used to manage their College Application Process including requesting transcripts, letters of recommendation, and other supporting documents for their college applications.
Students use the Naviance Success Planner to track application materials and assignments, like completing FASFA/TASFA, to ensure they are on track to college.
